Yahoo's been giving me trouble lately so I want to start up an e-mail account somewhere else that's easy to use and doesn't require sighted assistance to sing up for. A lot of free e-mail services these days have those things where you have to fill in the word in the box below, and even if they record what you have to write you can't really understand it. Can anyone help me with this. Appreciate it.
Hi,
I think they all have that dumb fill in the secret word box now! Alas! I have hotmail and it has that, too, and it's really slow, sometimes ... you wait forever for your email to come up!

I personally like juno. It is a combination of net zero and juno online services. It's features are that your mail downloades directily to your computer, various access numbers, multi user accounts, allows access to pop three accounts to download directily to juno, and much much more. Another great feature is that Jaws already has scripts for it. No more having to worry about how many e mails you have or how much space you have left before it startes deleting your mail. Easy and best of all free. The downside is that it does send you a modicum of junk mail but it is usally from the same address so you know. So check it out. WWW.juno.com I think that's the address anyway. I have done my good deed for the day so now it's time to be bad.

Hi, if you want a free e-mail account that has no signup problems, no attachments limmits, you can configure to use any email program or you can check your mail online using very easy and accessible webmail please contact me through here or
href="http://www.sudar.co.uk">go to my website, and contact me through there.
wel, I'd recomend www.fasstmail.fm...you can choose your domain type thing, like fastmail.org, fast-email.com, etc. etc. etc...and it doesn't have the fill in the word! It's great! and it's fast...ten seconds and the e-mail's at the account it is bound for. That's my experience. Hotmail I didn't get it to work with jaws...so that's my ideas, hope they're useful to you.
hmmm hotmail is just fine for me since I am keeping it up-to-date i.e not letting it reach its capacity limit, although they expanded the size to 256 mb and attachments to 10 mb. Anyway, as I have an old acount, from like about 3 or 4 years ago it works just fine and I didn't have to fill in any word or image thingi just because there were no such things at that time. Hmm, spam? rarely. Hmm... I think mixmail.com is good but its spanish, so arg, although I think they give their services in english I would have to check it back sometime. Or freemail.com but it has a lot of pop-ups... arg anyways, hope that helps
I've heard great things about FastMail. It's free, easy to use, fast, no fill in the word, etc. Again it's www.fastmail.fm. I think that's yoru best bet. It's free, and the free version doesn't customize with Outlook, but neither does Yahoo, so I guess you're used to checking it via the browser, and this one I've heard is better than Yahoo, in the browsing sense. Well, in a lot of sense. I don't have an account here, but I know Alison did, and I know of others who have.

Ok, here's a list, I've had varying results: www.bluebottle.com www.gawab.com www.pc4me.us (that one has big account, but servers have been known to go plop). I have seen some others. I've heard hotpop.com is alright. Hope these help, and I'll drop some more suggestions by when I think of them.
Oh man sorry I wish I could help ya. But the only email service I can think of is Hotmail.
I couldn't get hotmail to work with jaws he.
lol with the fill in the characters in the box thing everyone gets me to do them cause I can actually understand most of them, but you got to have super hearing to do it loll. I do have a www.gawab.com account, while it's good as a free pop email address you can add to outlook or outlook express the web mail side of it I find a bit inaccessible so it's good when I'm at home but sometimes hard to get to when I'm away.
